- DriveImage XML There is better disk cloning software out there, but this is free, after all.
- Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware A helpful Malware search and removal tool (free version).
- "Adblock Plus" Firefox Add-On This toolbar can remove annoying ads, and even some harmful ones. Requires Firefox of course.
- "NoScript" Firefox Add-On This toolbar prevents harmful scripts from running on your computer by pretty much stopping all of them and making you decide which are OK. Effective, but very annoying. Requires Firefox of course.
